On April 16, 2013, Celebrity author TOI MOORE will celebrate the one-year anniversary of being appointed as the President of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce, Inland Valley chapter. The Inland Valley Chapter covers areas: Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Perris, Menifee and Canyon Lake.

CELEBRITY AUTHOR TOI MOORE WAS HONORED AS A WOMAN OF DISTINCTION IN THE FIELD OF ARTS
Quinn AME Church honored Mrs. Moore with the honor at the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club. The theme was "Women Making a Positive Change." There were several in attendance to the event, where five other women were also honored. This is their 14th annual celebration where the Pastor of Quinn AME simply stated, "God has used the lives, example, and influence of these Women to elevate His kingdom." Mrs. Moore was happy with her honor, stating; "It is good to do what you do and have others appreciate your efforts and hard work to bring a positive change in the lives of others and myself."

On March 16, 2012, Celebrity Author TOI MOORE was appointed as the new PRESIDENT of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce - Inland Valley Chapter. She will be building this chapter from the ground up. Her duties will be to conduct monthly business mixers with community members and bring influential and powerful people together to build a better community in the Inland Valley. Her areas of operation will include: Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinor, Wildomar, Perris, Menifee and Canyon Lake. Her monthly meetings will be located in various locations throughout the communities. The meetings will be held every 3rd Tuesday of each month. Her FIRST official kickoff meeting will be April 17th, 2012. CELEBRITY AUTHOR TOI MOORE LEAVES CAST OF UPCOMING REALITY SHOW WIVES OF FAVOR
Celebrity author Toi Moore posted on her facebook page news that she is no longer a part of the cast, "Wives of Slavor, I mean Wives of Favor ;-) NEXTTTTT!"
Several friends posted messages wondering why she was no longer on the show and showed their love and support. The author noted that her reason for not being a continued cast member is because she felt she was disrespected SEVERAL TIMES, SURPRISED by ways in which the show seemed to be leading - (NOT POSITIVE AS TOLD), and how the way other cast members were treated when they decided to NOT go along with what the show staff expected for them to go along with, which also wasn't POSITIVE! Therefore, Toi felt she could no longer continue being treated in ways in which she did not deserve, ESPECIALLY after spending HER MONEY and NOT GETTING PAID to help and support THEIR SHOW, and STOOD HER GROUND by speaking up for herself, which they didn't like too well. "Oh well," she said as she briefly explained and added, "How can I speak to groups of people, children, and my own children by saying that people will ONLY treat you the way you ALLOW them to treat you, without meaning it for myself and standing up for what I believe in? I didn't like the treatment I was getting from the executive staff of the show, nor was I going to stay quiet and allow the disrespect to continue!" she summed it up. Toi did not go into details, but wished other cast members well. Her departure comes shortly after TWO other cast-members, Catina & Reda, QUIT just before her departure from the 'hopeful - I don't think it will happen' up and coming, and what was dubbed to the author as being a POSITIVE REALITY SHOW. However, Toi did NOT see that a positive light on the show was the TRUTH! She noted, "I guess the slogan, 'We'll talk it out, until we work it out.' didn't quite WORK between us! Oh well, THEIR LOST!" The author keeps things in her life moving FORWARD as she continues following her POSITIVE dreams and the MANY opportunities coming her way! The author was BLOWN AWAY from allllll the LOVE she received from friends and family, those who KNOW her very well, her character and the volumes of what she brings to anything she supports!

The panel discussion was fabulous! Later that night, I sold my books at the expo. I was there until about 10pm.
Day two included music industry panels with: Record Executives - Mark, Anthony , PR Executives - Harold & Grady, Manger to George Clinton - Spyder, and more. Later that night, a Black Tie affair & gala event called "Atlanta - Green Up," took place. The discussion was where speakers shared ways of going green. Later that night a showcase took place where young/old singers, dancers & rappers took the stage. We didn't get out of there until 11pm.
Day three included a Black Tie Awards show, where I shared the RED CARPET and was interviewed by several media outlets with celebrities such as: Ray Lavender (Donald Trumps - The Ultimate Merger with Omarosa), Rappers Shawy Lo, & Lil Chucki, the High Rise girls, Comedian Shawty and more. The night was DEFINITELY one to remember!
